MGK sings Invincible seconds before John Cena takes the ring for his “Once In A Lifetime Encounter” with The Rock at WrestleMania XXVIII
The Match between John Cena and The Rock was already billed “Once In A Lifetime” despite the fact that they had the rematch exactly a year later. The crowd in Miami was electric and the card had been stout until that point, so the energy was already at an all time high when the main event was set to kickoff.
Cena was an underdog as the Miami crowd was staunchly behind The Rock. The boo’s couldn’t drown out the excellent rendition of “Invincible” by Machine Gun Kelley. This moment gave the sporadic Cena fans in the crowd and also many at home, a reason to believe he could pull off the upset….. He did not, but the song was still great!

Living Colour Plays CM Punk to the ring at WrestleMania 29
CM Punk constantly whined about everything when it came to the WWE not supporting him. But I’m willing to guess it wasn’t cheap for them to shell out enough cash to get Living Colour to perform there. The WWE gave this “heel” a great entrance. CM Punk promptly thanked them by giving the WWE Universe the best match on a terrible card in a losing effort against The Undertaker.
