RB Danny Woodhead SD
I thought that Gordon would be the guy to want in San Diego but it’s Woodhead. He is the main pass catcher in that offense and he’s a perfect fit for bye weeks and tough matchups or even as a flex. He won’t put up the monster games due to a lack of touches, but he is pretty consistent for somebody that won’t cost you an arm and a leg.
RB TJ Yeldon JAC
He’s another option that you should buy if the price is right. He hasn’t put up a lot of fantasy points but he gets a lot of touches. If Bortles keeps performing at a high level, Yeldon may get some more open lanes. He finally found the endzone this past week and if he can start doing it consistently he will make owners proud.
RB Duke Johnson CLE
He’s only a recommendation for PPR leagues. It’s clear that Cleveland is not going to be a running team this year. The last two weeks have seen Johnson emerge as a strong pass catcher. He’s another guy that would be a nice depth addition down the stretch as he continues to gain playing time.
RB Todd Gurley STL
He looks like a straight monster. He’s the back in St. Louis no question. They will pound it out on the ground and he is well worth up giving up some quality player for. He is going to see the most benefit in non PPR leagues with 55 rushes to just three pass catches in three weeks.
RB LeSean McCoy BUF
He’s been vultured in the past in Philly and this year and he’s also dealing with a hamstring problem so why buy into him? The Bills have a week eight bye so if he gets some time before then he can rest up or they can hold him to get healthy through the bye. The rest of the backs in Buffalo haven’t been able to stay healthy either and he can really emerge as the guy with a good performance once he returns.
