The fans have spoken, and we have what some may consider an upset winner. Bringing in 82% of votes cast, Scotty Fox from Mentor is your NEOSI Player of the Week.
In a 35-14 win over Brunswick, the sophomore QB was 32-47 for 265 yards and five touchdown passes. The win moved the Cardinals to 3-2 on the year and 1-0 in the Greater Cleveland Conference. This week, Mentor hits the road to take on GCC rival Medina (5-1).
As always, congratulations to our other three candidates on their impressive performances: Hudson Devins (Berea-Midpark), Darreon Fair (Cleveland Heights), and Sam DeTillio (Avon).
