The fans have spoken, and we have an overwhelming winner for NEOSI Player of the Week. With 539 votes total, Willoughby South’s Tyrone Singleton brings in a whopping 81% of the vote.
In his Week 5 showdown with Eastlake North, the senior rushed for 217 yards and five touchdowns on just 19 carries. The win improved the Rebels to 3-2 on the season and 2-0 in the Western Reserve Conference. He’ll look to turn in another dominant performance this week when South hosts Brush (2-3).
As always, congratulations to our other three candidates that turned in impressive performances: Lamar Sperling, DeRonte Fullerton, and Darreon Fair. All three are big time performers who will continue to put up impressive performances.
