Week 4 HS Football POTW Poll: Who Was the Top Performer in Week 4?

Week Five

Week Five action kicks off Thursday night in Northeast Ohio, marking the midpoint of the regular season. Before kickoff, it’s time to reminisce over the top performances from Week Four. With countless performances that could have made our list, we’ve narrowed it down to four candidates. Now it’s your turn. Who should be named NEOSI Week 4 Player of the Week? Have your voice heard in the poll below and stay tuned for the results! Poll closes Thursday at noon.

Kyle Snider, CVCA

One of our candidates a week ago, the Royals’ senior running back was dominant once again. Snider carried the ball 36 times for 251 yards and five touchdowns in CVCA’s 42-36 overtime win against Canton South. On the season, Snider has carried the ball 96 times for 862 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Gavin Beasley, North Olmstead

Aaron Donald may be the best defensive lineman playing football, but Beasley turned in a Donald-esque performance of his own. In the Eagles 40-28 win over Buckeye, the Eagles senior finished with a jaw dropping 6.5 sacks. Beasley topped his junior year sack total of four in this contest alone.

Sean Patrick, Kenston

Bombers junior running back did it all in their 31-28 victory over Eastlake North. On the ground, Patrick carried the ball 19 times for 165 yards. In the air, he had 5 catches for 118 yards and two total touchdowns, including the game winner with just over two minutes left.

Cody Coontz, Rootstown

After nearly winning POTW honors in Week 1, Coontz turned in another dominant performance Friday night. The Rovers senior ran the ball 23 times for 261 yards and five touchdowns in their 48-6 win over Pymatuning Valley. Through four games, Coontz has 1,005 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns.
