The results are in and we have a runaway winner for this week’s Player of the Week award. With a whopping 89% of the vote, Mason Williams from Mogadore is this week’s winner. In the Wildcats 41-10 regional semifinal win over Cuyahoga Heights, Williams carried the ball 14 times for 205 yards and two touchdowns. Next up for Mogadore is a regional finals showdown with state powerhouse Kirtland (13-0).
Congratulations to our other three nominees: Lamar Sperling (Hoban), Roderick Love (Padua), and Rocco Alfieri (Kirtland). All three will take the field this weekend looking to lead their teams to the state semifinals.
