Your votes have been tallied, and we have a runaway winner in the week’s Player of the Week contest. Coming in with over 75% of the vote, Tyler Mrakuzic of Black River is this week’s winner.
In their 42-12 road victory over Wellington, Mrakuzic did it all for the Pirates. The senior hauled in seven catches for 220 yards and finished with five total touchdowns. The win guaranteed Black River a playoff spot and they will hit the road to take on Columbus Grove (8-2) Friday night.
Congratulations to our other three candidates on their impressive performances: Danny Stoddard (Medina), Preston Hopperton (Streetsboro), and Cody Miller (North Royalton). All three kick off playoff runs Friday night.
The playoffs are finally here and things are bound to get crazy. See an impressive performance Friday night? Let us know on Twitter and your choice could be one of next week’s candidates! Follow @NEOSportsInside to keep up with all the action this postseason!
