Round 6 Cleveland
WR Darren Carrington Utah
Cleveland’s WR situation is so bad they might have to double up on the position this year and scratch a lot of the previous draft picks and practice squad guys that have just not panned out.
Carrington is another receiver with some size and speed that has big play ability. He has not always performed well which is why he falls to this point but the Browns need playmakers and I would like to see Coleman move more to the slot and get some bigger athletic wide receivers on the outside to compliment that.
Round 7 Cleveland
LB Nyles Morgan Notre Dame
I thought about putting a kicker here because Zane Gonzalez has been dreadful but with the new XP rule teams have been changing kickers like crazy. With a flooded market you can find a veteran willing to get an opportunity for cheap. Instead either the secondary or linebacker can use more depth depending on who falls to you here.
I went with a MLB to back up Schobert who I think deserves another crack in 2018 at starting MLB. Tank Carder was supposed to be his backup and star special teamer but he will be a 29 year old free agent coming off a torn ACL. I’d rather find a guy late in the draft to take over his role going forward.
