CLEVELAND – Jason Kipnis came up big for the Indians early in their opener of their ALDS at Progressive Field against the New York Yankees, making a diving snag to rob Chase Headley of extra bases to open the third inning.
Kipnis, best known for playing second base, was running towards the ball and took to the air to make the play, much to the delight of pitcher Trevor Bauer.
