Danny Salazar pitched a brilliant outing in Friday night’s 7-1 win over the Royals, as the right-hander tossed 7.2 shutout innings, walking one batter, allowing just four hits, and striking out nine batters.
Salazar improved his win-loss record to 3-2 and lowered his season ERA to just 1.91.
Jose Ramirez had one of the best games of his MLB career, driving in a career-high five RBI, going three-for-three with two doubles on the night.
