Cleveland SC traveled to New York tonight to pick up their first road victory of the season, and improve their overall record to 3-0-1 this season. The dominating 5-0 win over Greater Binghamton featured a hat trick by Vinny Bell and was the fourth consecutive shutout by the club this season. They have let to allow a single goal.
This is the second time this season a player for SC has secured a hat trick. Mikey Derezic pulled it off the last time these two teams played in a 10-0 Cleveland victory. SC has now outscored them 15-0 in two meetings.
Cleveland SC will next take the pitch this Sunday at 2pm at home. The game will be at Don Shula Stadium on the campus of John Carroll as they welcome in the visiting Pittsburgh Regiment. This will be a clash of two Midwest powerhouses. Tickets for that game can be purchased right now on the team website for 10% off, or at the gate.
