Internationals SC finished another successful weekend of Super Y League competition as the 2006s (U13s) came away with three victories: a 5-1 win over GPS Michigan, a 6-0 win over Midwest United, and a 2-1 win over GPS Michigan.
Both teams, the 2006s (U13s) and 2005s (U14s), have won their brackets, qualifying them for the 2018 Super Y League Finals that will be taking place at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida from December 7-11.
The Internationals 2006 Girls won the U13 Girls Midwest bracket with a record of
7-0-1, scoring 28 goals and allowing eight.
The Internationals 2005 Girls won the U14 Girls Midwest bracket last weekend with a
record of 6-0-0, scoring 32 goals and only conceding one.
“We are very proud of these teams and their accomplishments,” Internationals SC Assistant Director of Coaching Jared Rose commented. “They have shown not only a high level of competitiveness, but a style of play and team work that was unmatched. We are excited for them to return in the fall as we will continue to work hard to prepare them for all their future challenges and competitions. This fall, they will both be competing at the highest level in club soccer, the ECNL.”
