Browns fans have seen this movie before, as the 2016 season unfolded in unspectacular fashion with a lackluster 29-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday afternoon.
Rookie quarterback Carson Wentz went for 278 yards and two scores with a QB rating of 101.0 for the Eagles. New Browns QB Robert Griffin III was just 12-for-26 for 190 yards with a pick in his Browns regular season debut.
As always Twitter was the place to be on Sunday to see people’s thoughts on the Browns, the loss, and what they think the 2016 season will be like.
Enjoy.
The #Browns, as usual, appear to have blown it with Carson Wentz. Not a stunner with their scouting record.

@Browns when are y'all gonna get tired of being the league doormat? Or the butt of the world's jokes?

Think positive. This time next year, I will be watching Watson hand the ball off to Fournette for the Browns. Unless we trade down again…

Being a Browns fan just means I automatically prefer college football over NFL

Good to see the Browns had the biggest loss deficit of the afternoon. #SucksToBeABrownie

It's not likely, but I really hope the Indians clinch the division next Sunday during the Browns home opener. That would make my year.
