1. Mike Clevinger outing
Though Mike Clevinger’s stuff wasn’t all that great like his last outing against Kansas City, he managed to pitch 4.1 innings, with three hits, walking five, giving up three runs and striking out five.
For him, it was all about keeping the ball down and work on his command. After Carlos Santana, scored on a wild pitch, the Twins took a 3-1 lead in the fourth and what hurt about it was walking two batters and an error he committed throwing to first.
The error opened the door for the Twins, and it cost the Tribe as Minnesota scored three runs, more then enough for the anemic again Indians offense.
