From the first batter of the game, it looked like the Tribe would keep rolling.
Carlos Santana led off the top of the first with a solo shot to right field, his 16th homer of the season.
Two batters later, Francisco Lindor followed suit.
Rajai Davis and Jose Ramirez each drove in a run in the second and third inning, respectively.
Lindor would belt his second home run of the day and tenth of the season in the top of the eighth. Yan Gomes would hit his eighth of the season in the same inning.
The Indians would win 6-0.
Carlos Carrasco was untouchable, pitching a complete game four-hit shutout, striking out seven and walking one. Carrasco joins Corey Kluber and Trevor Bauer as the third Indians pitcher to throw a complete game in the last four games.
It was Carrasco’s third shutout and seventh complete game of his career. He improves to 3-2 on the season with a 2.73 ERA.
The Indians extend their win-streak to eight games, improve to 43-30 on the season and 17-6 in the month of June, the best record in baseball in that stretch.
The Tribe is now 8-0 against Detroit and 23-10 against Central Division opponents.
Cleveland looks to sweep Detroit for the third time this season on Sunday when Josh Tomlin (8-1, 3.32) goes up against Justin Verlander (7-5, 3.78).
