4) Interior Defensive Line
The Browns shipped DT Danny Shelton to the Patriots in the spring. Now they need some of these young interior defensive linemen to take the reigns. Second-year man Larry Ogunjobi is one of the front-runners. He started to really make a name for himself late last season, recording his first career sack in Week 16. Meanwhile, Trevon Coley started 15 games for Cleveland in 2017 and could find himself doing the same this season. Don’t sleep on Jamie Meder either, who is an excellent run stopper and has appeared in 42 games for the Browns over each of the last three seasons. Caleb Brantley could also be in that conversation is he shows progress in year two. Veteran Brandon Thompson will at least push the group as well. Regardless of who starts, you’ll probably hear a number of these names throughout the season considering Greg Williams’ propensity to rotate his D-lineman.
