14. Bret Hart vs Roddy Piper – WrestleMania VIII

Roddy Piper ‘retired’ in 1987 after WrestleMania III, and other than this match with Bret Hart he really did very little in terms of good in-ring work throughout his many returns to the ring. He and Hart on this lackluster card had a great match with a very good backstory. It was no surprise to see Hart win, but many felt that this was one of, if not Piper’s best match of his career against the always good Hart.
