WR DeSean Jackson WAS
The Redskins receiving core is getting crowded. With Jackson, Garcon, Doctson, Crowder, and Reed the Redskins have a lot of different threats to be a great offense. Kirk Cousins had a monster year throwing for a lot of TDs and reviving a team that most thought would be picking in the top ten. With all of the options Jackson may be one that goes. He’s made his living by being a deep threat and those players are usually hit or miss based on if they get a big touchdown catch that week. Jackson is also older so he may be getting phased out to make room for the younger guys of the future.
WR Josh Gordon CLE
Gordon is the ultimate wildcard WR. What Josh Gordon will show up this year if he shows up? He’s been suspended countless times for violating the substance abuse policy as well as for breaking team rules. He’s almost missed more games in the NFL then he has actually played in. For his career he has 35 games played and 33 games suspended. While he looked like a Hall of Fame WR in 2013, when he returned from his 10 game in suspension in 2014 he looked nothing like it. He ran lazy routes, didn’t go all out, etc. For a guy with so much talent it’s hard to decide whether he will return to that form or fizzle out in his private life and suspensions. Based on his track record it is most likely the later.
TE Jimmy Graham SEA
I do not trust his knee injury at all. He suffered it ¾ of the way into last year’s season and that same injury cost Victor Cruz to miss all of last season. The patella tendon is tricky so seeing what form he comes back when he does is the first question. Before the injury he didn’t seem to fit into Seattle’s offense last year. His numbers took a huge drop and it was only when he was injured that the offense took off. Those are some serious questions facing him this year and I’m not sure he will even be in the top half in terms of TEs.
