WR Dez Bryant DAL
When Tony Romo goes out Dez Bryant tends to struggle. Last year was a perfect example. Yes Dak Prescott has looked like the next big thing but it’s the preseason. I’m not buying his hype until he pulls it off in the regular season. With the top rookie RB and the best offensive line in football, the Cowboys will be run heavy to protect Dak. With no weapons on the outside besides Dez, teams will be looking to shut him down like they did last year.
WR Vincent Jackson TB
Age may be finally catching up to Vincent. The Tampa Bay WRs were really disappointing last season with the hopes that Jameis could revive the offense there. While Winston looks much better this preseason compared to last year, Jackson just doesn’t have the speed and ability as he did in the past. I’m looking for an average year from him and Evans is the one to look out for.
WR Allen Hurns JAC
Jacksonville will not live in garbage time all season like a year ago with their improved defense. Hurns made his living by scoring TDs, but with less passing from not playing from behind, Hurns numbers should go down. Julius Thomas is a healthy to start this year too so there’s another player in the redzone game. The Jaguars also gave Chris Ivory big bucks to come to Jacksonville so don’t be surprised if they try and get the running game going a little more this year.
