4. Stone Cold Steve Austin Over The Rock in a No Holds Barred Match at Backlash 4/25/99

Whenever Rock and Austin went did battle it was magic, and this night was no different, as with Shane McMahon as the special guest ref, the two biggest WWF stars went at it for just over 17 minutes in a very good bout.

The Rock was on the verge of going face, and during the match was getting more cheers than boos, which was a sign of things to come as the following night he went totally face for the company.

Austin was in the midst of a long feud with Vince McMahon, one of the best feuds in the history of the company. While it had a lot of the elements of the WrestleMania match the two had just weeks before, this was still a great match that had both wrestlers in their prime at the top of their game.
