Three Players The Cavs Should Target Following The Carmelo Anthony/OKC Trade

3. Sign Chris Bosh To A Vet Minimum Contract- Ok, this is a weird one. I know. But come on, it would make so much sense for the Cavs to target the former Miami Heat star to a veteran’s minimum contract just to see if he can play again. What’s the worst that can happen? Bosh doesn’t clear his physical and the Cavs move on. Boom, that’s it.

Bosh is a two-time NBA Champion who just happened to play with LeBron and Dwyane Wade who, in case you didn’t hear, is looking into joining the Cavs following his recent buyout with the Chicago Bulls. If Bosh can still go physically, the Cavs would’ve found a way to have “The Big Three’ from the Heat’s championship teams. That’s incredible and they would still have the Brooklyn pick to fish out into the waters to try and land a big-name player to stack the depth of this roster and possibly bring Bosh off the bench to add to an already strong second unit. The numbers for Bosh are there and have always been there. Since entering the NBA in 2003, Bosh has averaged 19.2 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per game.

This is the riskiest route out of all three options presented in this article. But if it works out, watch out.
