1. Zach Britton, Baltimore Orioles Reliever
The Yankees (who else) have reported interest in Britton, who had surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon in December.
He’s only thrown in 11 games this season, with one save for maybe the worst team in the Majors in the Orioles. Just two seasons ago he was a huge part of the O’s making the playoffs, recording 47 saves, but since then has been banged up and will be available for the right price.
He would be a rental as he’ll be a free agent at the end of the year, and if healthy could be a player the Tribe looks at as a possible closer if Cody Allen and Andrew Miller both leave for greener pastures.
