Strongsville Mustangs Football Coach Larry Laird Steps Down

Another top local high school program is looking for a new head coach, as today the Strongsville Mustangs announced that Larry Laird is stepping down as head football coach.

Laird was with the Mustangs for three seasons, going 13-17 in his time with the program.

The program was just 2-8 this past season, with wins coming over Brush and Elyria.

Laird, prior to coming to the Mustangs, had coached at both Avon Lake and Medina. A tweet was sent out this morning informing all football players of a 2:45pm meeting to announce the news.
