Defensive Backs:
First year General Manager John Dorsey overhauled nearly the whole entire defensive backs group. Jabrill Peppers, Briean Boddy-Calhoun, Derrick Kindred will be among the DB’s who will be returning to the browns and will play significant time.
The Browns are expected to start Denzel Ward at corner-back. Ward was the fourth overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft. The former Ohio State Buckeye is a native of Macedonia, Ohio. The Browns will also new-comers like Damarious Randall, EJ Gaines, Travis Carrie, Justin Currie, Terrance Mitchell who will all play a significant amount of time. Randall, Gaines, and Carrie are expected to be starters as well. Currie, Kindred, Boddy-Calhoun are expected to be back-ups.
