CLEVELAND – The trigger-happy JR Smith returned to Quicken Loans Arena on Friday evening, a shooting prowess that proved to be the difference in avoiding a season sweep against the Pacers.
Cleveland earned its fourth win of 2018, 115-108, courtesy of Smith’s season-high 23 points, Tristan Thompson’s transition back to the starting lineup and LeBron James’ eighth triple-double of the campaign.
Kevin Love chipped in 10 points and 13 rebounds – his 26th double-double of the season – while an efficient Derrick Rose scored 14 points, his most dating back to a 20-point effort on Nov. 3.
