Slow start Haunts Cavs, fall to Pistons 113-102

Pistons big men too much to handle

Detroit F/C has always proved to be a difficult match-up for the Cavaliers with his athleticism and playmaking ability.

The Detroit Pistons are one of the few NBA teams where their front court is their biggest strength, so they often present challenges for most teams. The Cavaliers are no different as the Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin combined for 44 points and 38 rebounds. This should come as no surprise to Cavs fans, because these two are the ones who beat them the first time these two teams met.

Drummond was able to score 13 of his 23 points in the first quarter, which helped catapult Detroit into the lead. Griffin meanwhile was an all around problem (21pts, 12rbds) for the Cavs, not only scoring but also leading the team in assists with five.
