3) WR Rashard Higgins
Boy does life come fast and Higgins has been on nothing short of a roller coaster. After being the fourth WR selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 2016 NFL Draft, Higgins was buried on the depth chart most of his rookie year. He was waived and signed to the practice squad going into the 2017 season before slowly working his way up. He finished on a high note catching his first two touchdowns in week 17. Coming into 2018 there wasn’t much pressure on him but now he might be the number two guy for the WRs. Josh Gordon has been away from the team and his status for the season remains unknown. Corey Coleman was just traded away for a seventh-round pick. Rookie Antonio Callaway who had previous off the field issues was just cited for marijuana possession and may face further discipline. Jeff Janis has dealt with some injury issues after signing in free agency. That could possibly thrust Higgins into a starting role in a make or break third season for the young WR.
