“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 855 this morning,” Simon Halls, a representative for Fisher’s daughter, said in a statement to NBC News. “She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly.”
Fisher was promoting her new autobiography called “The Princess Diarist” and was recently on the Today Show talking about Star Wars and her co-star, Harrison Ford.
Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family in this time of grief from all of us here at NEOSI. May the Force be with you.
