The Cleveland Browns made headlines for all the wrong reasons today, firing their Executive Vice President of Football Operations Sashi Brown following another 0-12 start for Cleveland in Brown’s second season running the team’s front office. Brown had been part of a Browns stretch that accumulated one single victory for a combined record of 1-27. Many believed that either he or Head Coach Hue Jackson would be the one to hit the road following the season after the two appeared to be at crossroads after many miscues by the leaders of the football organization.
Brown got the ax and after statements from the organization and Hue Jackson about the situation, he has released his own statement.

What’s interesting to note is even after drawing the short end of the stick in what most viewed as the wrong firing, Brown remained positive and happy for the future of the Browns.
