Rockies Rock Bauer as Indians End Road Trip with 8-1 Defeat; Three Takeaways from the Loss

It was another ugly day for the Indians at Coors Field in Colorado, as the latest road trip for the team is in the books with a bad 8-1 loss to the Rockies.

Trevor Bauer was beat up in just 3.1 innings, and Kyle Freeland held the Indians offense to one run on six hits in 6.1 innings, his only mistake a Jose Ramirez solo homer.

The trip ends with the Indians going 1-4, the lone win a Sunday beat down of the Royals. The teams’ record as they will get a Thursday off is now 29-28, 17-14 away from Progressive Field.

Here’s our three takeaways from the teams’ latest loss, as the team will come home and get ready for a six-game homestand against the White Sox and Dodgers.
