RGIII Suffers Sprained Left Shoulder in Loss to Eagles

Cleveland Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III suffered a sprained left shoulder in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 29-10 loss to the Eagles.

Griffin told the media the extent of the injury during the post game press conference but fully expects to play next week.

Griffin scrambled for 11 yards on a third-and-15 in the fourth quarter but was clobbered by Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills before he could get out of bounds on the sideline.

He was evaluated extensively by Browns medical staff but he entered the the game the next offensive series to finish the game by handing the ball off to Isaiah Crowell to finish the game.

RGIII completed 12 of 26 passes for 190 yards and an interception in with 5 rushes for 37 yards in his debut.

UPDATE 7:45pm: RGIII will have more tests on shoulder Monday.
