Report: Game 1 Of NBA Finals Fails To Sell Out At Oracle Arena

It’s the best time of the year to be a basketball fan, as the NBA Finals are once again upon us. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors meet for a historic fourth-time for a shot at a championship, starting on Thursday night at Oracle Arena.

While the magnitude of the game cannot be overstated, it appears fans in the Bay Area did not get the memo.

According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals has not sold out. Rovell’s tweet mentions this came with fifteen minutes before tip-off.

It’ll be interesting to see the turnout for Game 2, with the outcome of this game playing a possible role.
