According to Shams Charania of The Vertical, the Cleveland Cavaliers are waiving Larry Sanders to sign Edy Tavares.

The move will likely take place Wednesday, just in time for Cleveland’s regular season finale.
Tavares, a 7-foot-3 center, averaged 10.9 points and 7.7 rebounds and 2.7 blocks with the Raptors 905 in the D-League this season.
He was the 43rd overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, selected by the Atlanta Hawks, appearing in 12 NBA games in 2015-16.
