The Cleveland Cavaliers and Nuggets reportedly are interested in making a deal that would send Kevin Love to Denver, as Cleveland hopes to acquire Indiana’s Paul George. Denver hopes to move three contracts of players who aren’t a big part of their long-term plans, with Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried and Emmanuel Muiday expected to be involved in any potential trade.
The only problem: Indiana isn’t as interested in making that happen.
Sources: #Nuggets want to deal. They like #Cavs' Kevin Love and a deal helps them move 3 contracts they want to move. #Pacers still hesitant

As Sam Amico of AmicoHoops reports, the Pacers are hesitant. It makes sense for the Pacers to be hesitant because let’s face it – what’s in it for them?
Of course the Cavs would love to have George – an All-Star forward who’s capable of going off for 30 points on any given night.
The Nuggets would love to get rid of a few players who don’t fit their plans in order to acquire an All-Star power forward who’s also a walking double-double.
It’s not the Pacers’ job to do any favors for Denver or Cleveland, though.
Until the Nuggets and Cavs find a way to sweeten the pot for Indiana, it doesn’t appear like any deal is imminent, but the good news for Cavs and Nuggets fans is the conversations continue.
Amico also reported the Cavs “had some traction” on a three-way deal involving the New York Knicks, but the Carmelo Anthony/Phil Jackson drama caused pause for the talks.
We’ll continue to update Cleveland’s trade rumblings as more news develops.
