The move that many Browns fans have been calling for since last season has finally happened, as Monday head coach Hue Jackson was dismissed by the team.
Browns fired Hue Jackson, per source.

Jackson, as Schefter points out, has this and next year remaining on his contract. So the Browns will be contractually obligated to him through 2019 next season.
The coach went through two of the worst seasons in the history of the game, as the Browns went 1-15 in 2016, and last season didn’t win a game, going 0-16.
The team started the year with a tie against the Steelers, and at one point were 2-2-1, but since then have gone backwards, and after Sunday’s 33-18 blowout in Pittsburgh to the Steelers, the team sits now at 2-5-1.
Over his time with the Browns, Jackson went 3-36-1, and didn’t win a game on the road.
No word as to who will take over for Jackson, but thoughts were that it could be OC Todd Haley, or even DC Gregg Williams, who both have prior head coaching experience.
