4. It’s Still Home
People make a lot of noise about LeBron and his home in Los Angeles or wherever else he has property, but there’s always something special about coming home.
Yes, he delivered on what he said he would do when he was drafted all those years ago, winning a title for his hometown city. But there’s not many players over the years who have had the bond with his home city like James has had with Cleveland.
Through all the spats with ownership and coaches over the years, he can put it behind him because he’s doing it in the city he loves, the city he grew up in.
Leaving home is never easy, he learned that once in 2010. But now there are even more factors at play– and he knows that.
