Ravens vs Browns NFL Week Five Fantasy Outlook

K: GREG JOSEPH:

Joseph made two short field goals and two extra points, and more importantly, didn’t miss on Sunday. Yeah, I think he will keep his job for another week.

Fantasy Fearless Projection: 1 FG, 2 XP. SIT.

DEFENSE:

The Browns defense did not play well last week against the Raiders, giving up 38 points. However, the Browns racked up three sacks last week and now have 12 for the season. On the other side of the ball, the Ravens have allowed 10 sacks so far this season. Furthermore, the Browns’ 13 takeaways lead the league while also forcing a league-best 34 negative plays.

Believe it or not, the Ravens possess a pass-first game plan and have the eighth-most passing yards in the league with 307.8 per game. Baltimore has scored an average of 26 points per game in their last four meetings vs. Cleveland. Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is playing his best ball in years, while wide receiver John Brown has scored in three of four games.

Fantasy Fearless Projection: 20 points allowed, 2 sacks, 2 turnovers. SIT

FINAL ANALYSIS: The Ravens are coming off a butt-whooping of the Steelers last week and will try to avoid a letdown against the Browns, who suffered a devastating loss last week to the Raiders. The Ravens welcome back their best cornerback Jimmy Smith, who is returning from a four-game suspension. Without Smith, the Ravens had an elite defense who has yet to allow a second-half touchdown this season. This will be a touch matchup for the young Browns. IF the Browns can limit their turnovers, they will give themselves a chance to finally beat John Harbaugh and the Ravens.

GAME PREDICTION: Baltimore Ravens-27 Cleveland Browns-17
