2nd Round
CB Gareon Conley
Conley has good size for a corner at 6’0”195 pounds and there is some argument that he might be the best corner Ohio State had including over Eli Apple who went tenth last year. Conley excels the most in coverage.
He played a lot of man to man at OSU which will help him in the pros but he is athletic enough to make a difference in zone schemes as well. Where he needs to improve is against the run where he is somewhat of a liability. In a strong class of CBs early, there might be a lot of personal preference so Conley can go high or could drop. Expect him to go somewhere in the first two rounds.
LB Raekwon McMillan
One of the most recruited players coming out of high school, McMillan has thrived in the defense at OSU. He was one of the few players that stood out in a positive way in their playoff game against Clemson constantly making plays to try and give the team some life.
He has the perfect build for an ILB in the NFL and is stout against the run and consistently making tackles, traits that tend to carry over well into the NFL. However, he needs to prove that he can be better in coverage to make it in the NFL and is probably a second round pick.
