PREVIEW: As the win streak comes to an end, Cavs return home to face Sixers

2. A slight break for Love

The Sixers like to rest Embiid during back-to-backs, and it’s looking like they are going to do that on Saturday as the Sixers head to New Orleans to take on the Pelicans tomorrow. It makes sense that they would want to save him to battle DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis down low.

When these two faced off last week, Embiid scored 30 points and grabbed 11 boards. Love struggled, (a rarity for him during the streak) and finished with just 13 points and three boards.

If Embiid does in fact sit, it will likely be a slight break for Love, at least on the defensive end.
