Preview: The Browns Look to Finally Get First Win Since 2016 in New Orleans Against the Saints

3. Better Special Teams

The Browns were gashed on kick and punt returns last week by new Steeler Ryan Switzer, and this week they have to do a better job not giving the Saints short fields.

On the other side, creating better field position themselves would be a plus, and also making sure they have a better look at a potential game-winning field goal instead of it being blocked.

The special teams wasn’t so special in week one, and this week they have to find a way to rebound in New Orleans or it could be a long day for the Browns.

Prediction – By no means should the sudden departure of Josh Gordon be an excuse, but you have to wonder where the Browns are from a mental standpoint after Saturday’s shocking news. The Saints are desperate not to start 0-2 again, and at home they will have enough offense to make things happen and get past the Browns. Look for a high scoring game that the Saints find a way to pull away and win in the fourth quarter.
