Preview: Indians Open Up Three-Game Set Tonight in Comerica Against the Tigers

1. The Lowdown on Fiers

Tigers starter Mike Fiers will take the hill on Monday night, and the former Astros hurler comes into play Monday at 3-2 with a 4.73 ERA.

In his last start against the Rangers, he went 5.1 innings, allowing two runs on six hits with no walks and five strikeouts.

He’s not faced the Indians since May 20th of last season when he was with Houston, and in that game he was very good, allowing an earned run on six hits in six innings in an Indians 3-0 win.

With the way the Tribe offense has been on a tear as of late, the runs should come Monday night in Comerica.
