3. Feast on Duffy
As if having Corey Kluber on the mound isn’t a big enough advantage for the Tribe, they go up against a pitcher they have had great success with over the years in Royals lefty Danny Duffy.
The Indians beat Duffy in the home opener on April 6, but he held the Tribe for the most part in check that day, allowing three runs in 5.2 innings.
He’s been pretty bad this season, has he was 0-4 until finally winning his first game of the season on Tuesday against Baltimore.
In 16 games against the Tribe Duffy is 2-7 with a 4.09 ERA. With Kluber coming off a loss, if the offense can get him some early runs, it should be a day in which the Indians get to 20-19 on the season.
