2. Will Trout play?
Angels slugger Mike Trout has missed L.A.’s last two games with a bruised right wrist. On Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays, Trout injured the wrist sliding into third on a stolen base attempt.
If the All-Star slugger feels well enough to play, however, expect to see him in the field. Trout spoke with the media prior to Friday’s game and said if he played Saturday, he didn’t want to DH—rather, he said he planned to play his usual center field.
“I want to play center,” he said. “If I come in tomorrow and it feels good, that’s where I’m going to play.”
