Preview: Indians Begin Final Week of Regular Season in Chicago Tonight Against the Sox

1. In Search of 20

Indians starter Corey Kluber will look for his 20th win tonight against the Sox, and it’s a good bet that he’ll get it if he can pitch like he has against them so far this year.

Kluber is perfect against the Sox, 3-0 with a 1.29 ERA this season. In his last start which was against Chicago at home last week, he threw eight innings, allowing three runs on eight hits with two walks and 11 K’s.

He did allow two homers in the eventual Indians win.

While it’s looking more and more like it will be Blake Snell of the Rays winning the Cy Young, the more important thing for Kluber is to be healthy and sharp for the postseason starting in Houston or Oakland.
