2. The King holds court
For as phenomenal as Kyrie Irving has been this year, LeBron James has been even better. It’s no secret that he is having an MVP-like season, and since he has been back in The Land, James just seems to have the Celtics’ number.
In 20 games since his return to Cleveland, the Cavs have gone 16-4 against the Celtics. The King is averaging 28.3 points, 7.9 boards and 7.1 assists during that time as well. In the opener, James dropped 29 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, the first player in history to record those kinds of numbers.
Given all the drama with the Irving story line in this one, James only has extra incentive to leave it all out on the floor tonight.
