1. Limit turnovers
Sacramento defenders swarmed LeBron James on Dec. 6, forcing seven turnovers from the four-time MVP and 15 total turnovers from the defending Eastern Conference champions. In each of Cleveland’s recent losses to Golden State and Milwaukee, James has turned the ball over seven times. The team is 5-6 this season when James has six-or-more turnovers.
Buddy Hield (1.06 steals per game), Bogdan Bogdanovic (1.00 SPG), Garrett Temple (0.94 SPG) and George Hill (0.93 SPG) are all hovering around one steal per game, while Willie Cauley-Stein ranks 40th in the league with 0.93 blocks per game.
Expect the Kings to be aggressive on the defensive end of the floor, especially with their offense struggling to get high-percentage shot attempts and overall production.
