1. Contain the Unicorn
It’s not rocket science, but it’s easier said than done. The Cavs need to contain Kristaps Porzingis. The Knicks earned their first win of the 2017-18 season against the Brooklyn Nets last night, and Porzingis had 30 points and grabbed nine boards. This season, he is averaging 26.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
The good news for the Cavs is the Knicks have few options outside of Porzingis. If they can contain him and prevent any role players from doing too much, they will likely be able to avoid a three-game skid.
