Comeback Player of the Year
Jordy Nelson WR GB
Nelson went down last year and so did the Packers offense. For his career he has three 1,250 yard seasons and two with double digit TD catches. Without Nelson, Rodgers passer rating dropped to 92.7, the lowest of his NFL career. He also had his lowest completion percentage and average yards per pass attempt. While Rodgers numbers still looked great compared to most starting QBs, the impact of losing Jordy was noticeable. Getting Nelson back out onto the field is why I have Rodgers winning the MVP and Nelson getting the Comeback Player of the Year. He can be in store for another big year because when Aaron Rodgers gets going he is almost impossible to stop. Nelson is the one player that can spring the Packers back into immediate Super Bowl contenders.
