Players to Love and Hate in Week Two Of Fantasy Football

My Lineup:

QB Carson Palmer ARI $7,800

Palmer faces a really weak Bears defense that finished 31st against QBs last year and was 28th again last week. With Ellington going down with an injury, I expect that Cards to air it out especially with all the weapons they got at WR.

RB Bishop Sankey TEN $6,500

What’s the best way to help a rookie QB on the road against a consistent top 10 pass defense? A strong run attack. Luckily for Tennessee, they are facing the worst rush D from last year. Sankey looked strong last week and I expect nothing but the same from him this week.

RB Tevin Coleman ATL $6,500

Coleman is clearly the back to have in Atlanta, out carrying Freeman 2-to-1 last week and averaging almost two more yards per carry than Freeman. Coleman will matchup with the third worst run D from last year, and with Julio Jones not 100 percent, don’t be surprised if Atlanta tries to slow it down to avoid putting their defense in a possible shootout with the Giants offense.

WR Antonio Brown PIT $9,200

Guy gets five catches and 50 yards every game and with Bell and Bryant still suspended, the offense is going to be forced to go through Brown again. Expect a lot of quick screens and let him do the rest. About as safe a play as you can make.

WR Brandin Cooks NO $7,400

If Marcus Mariota can throw for four TD’s against the Bucs in the 1st half, then Brees can do it in the 1st quarter. Cooks is due for a breakout and if the Saints can follow the Titans game plan and get Cooks the ball quick and in space, it can make for another long day for Bucs fans.

WR Jarvis Landry MIA $7,100

Miami struggled to run the ball last week against a poor Washington team. Landry was able to get six less targets than Miami had rushes for the whole game. Jacksonville has an underrated defensive line but has struggled with a younger secondary making for a good week for Landry.

TE Jason Witten DAL $6,000

With Dez out, look for Romo to go to his go-to guy in Witten. Witten hauled in a couple of TD’s last week and going up against Philly a shootout can really benefit Witten.

K Josh Brown NYG $4,600

Brown had a solid week last week and the Giants should be able to move the ball against a below average Atlanta defense.

DEF Rams $4,900

Best defensive line in the league going up against the most dysfunctional team in the NFL. Quinn and Donald led the way last week with four of the Rams six sacks against one of the most mobile QBs in the league in Russell Wilson. I expect nothing less from the Rams again this week and it also helps when you have Tavon Austin as a return man.
