Players to Love and Hate in Week Six Of Fantasy Football

Loves:

QB Carson Palmer ARI $8,000
He’s put up a good amount of points for not having to throw the football much this year. He’s got 17 points every game and goes against some weak Pittsburgh corners with his trio of wide receivers.

QB Blake Bortles JAC $7,300
I’m really buying into Bortles. He’s finally starting to come into his own and Jacksonville might be able to compete with a lot more teams right now. The Texans are 1-4 on the year and the defense has been part of their problem. It also looks like Yeldon might not play so Bortles could throw the ball more.

QB Matt Stafford DET $6,900
Here’s the head scratcher for people. Yes I like Matt Stafford. It’s not his fault that his line has been pretty terrible this year but they play Chicago this week. If they want to get on track now is the time to do it.

RB Matt Forte CHI $8,400
One thing that Forte is always good for is touches. Detroit allows the sixth most rushing yards per game. If Bennett suddenly can’t go now then Forte will be looked at as the rock for the offense.

RB Eddie Lacy GB $7,300
The Packers always do well at home and San Diego allows the fourth most rushing yards per game. Lacy has struggled this year but he should be getting healthier. The Packers also need to let him go for some goalline touchdowns to see if he can start gaining momentum and confidence.

RB LeGarrette Blount NE $6,500
I like both of the Patrioits backs this week. New England has always had great success running all over Indianapolis. If they continue to do so Lewis may get the bulk but Blount will get his carries too especially in the redzone.

RB Antonio Andrews TEN $5,400
Here’s my value play for RB. Miami is the worst run defense in the NFL and while Andrews is in a committee at RB, he gets the goalline work and will add some catches as he led the team in receiving last week.

WR Demaryius Thomas DEN $8,300
I like him for the same exact reasons as Sanders. No Haden and no Gipson.

WR Jeremy Maclin KC $7,200
The Chiefs will need to look somewhere for offense help with Charles done for the year. Maclin has had eight for 85 the last three weeks.

WR Allen Robinson JAC $6,700
I like Jacksonville and Bortles this week so I will also go with his top guy. For $6,700 Robinson should offer some nice upside. He’s scored at least two touchdowns in two of his games this year and should see some action again this week.

WR Jordan Matthews PHI $6,600
He hasn’t put up great numbers the last few weeks but neither has Philly. He still gets the most targets among all the options there and the Giants allow the second most pass yards per game. Prince Amukamara is out for the Giants leaving just Rodgers-Cromartie to cover him.

WR Donte Moncrief IND $6,200
He would get a huge benefit if Luck plays. He and Luck have been able to team up better than with Hasselbeck. If the Patriots score a lot of points which they usually do then Moncrief can get some targets in a paly from behind game.

TE Larry Donnell NYG $5,300
Beckham, Cruz, and Randle are all questionable as to whether they play on Sunday. I’m going to figure at least one will miss the game and the Eagles secondary has really slacked. Donnell can sneak into being a top five tight end this week.

D Cardinals $5,000
The Cardinals have some good corners and with Vick still there can force some turnovers. The Steelers are going to have to rely on Bell and if the Cardinals can keep him in check than the Cardinals can keep most of their fantasy points.

D Jets $4,800
They have been off to a pretty hot start. Reed is out for the Redskins and Jackson will be a game time decision. The defense also ranks in the top ten in passing and rushing yards. Despite having a bye they are still second in the NFL in takeaways.
